Common questions, answered
Fees, insurance, hours, and what therapy is actually like — before you ever have to ask.
What are the fees?
- Individual therapy — $140 per session
- Family / couples therapy — $160 per session
Sessions are 50 minutes. Self-pay and uninsured clients receive a written good faith estimate of expected costs before treatment begins.
Do you take insurance?
I’m currently credentialed with:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- Carelon Behavioral Health
- Ascension (SmartHealth)
Coverage, deductibles, and copays vary by plan, so benefits are verified on the secure client portal before your first session. Out-of-network plans are welcome too — many clients use out-of-network reimbursement.
What are your office hours?
I see clients Tuesday through Friday by appointment. Specific session times vary through the week, so reach out through the secure client portal, by phone, or by text and we’ll find a time that works.
How do I know if I need therapy?
You don’t need to be in a crisis or at rock bottom to start therapy. A good rule of thumb is simple: if life or your relationships feel harder to navigate than usual, therapy can help.
It might be time to reach out if you’re:
- Repeating painful patterns in your relationships, or feeling disconnected.
- Struggling with anxiety, trauma, or managing daily stress and ADHD.
Therapy isn’t about fixing something “broken” — it’s a safe space to gain clarity, build practical tools, and get the support you deserve.
How many sessions will I need, and how often will we meet?
The number of sessions looks different for everyone — it depends on your goals, what you’re navigating, and how often we meet.
To start, I generally recommend meeting weekly. This lets us build a strong foundation, dive into your history, and clarify your goals so we can find the right long-term rhythm. As you make progress, we check in regularly and adjust frequency to best support your needs.
What is a good faith estimate?
Under federal law, if you don’t have insurance or choose not to use it, you’re entitled to a good faith estimate — a written estimate of the expected charges for your care — before treatment begins. You’ll receive yours through the secure client portal before the first session, and you can request an updated estimate at any time.
Is my information private?
Yes. All care is confidential under HIPAA and Florida law, with the standard legal exceptions (such as safety concerns), which are reviewed in your intake paperwork.
This website collects nothing: it has no forms, sets no cookies, and uses no trackers. Scheduling, intake, and messages happen on the secure client portal, which is HIPAA-compliant. Please don’t include sensitive health details in a text or an email — use the portal or the phone instead.
Still have a question?
Send it through the secure client portal, call, or text — whichever is easiest. This website doesn’t collect or store anything.
